A Report of 2 Case of Duplication of the Alimentary Tract

Abstract
|
|
|
There were two cases of alimentary duplication which were confirmed by gross and microscopic
pathology, each in Aug. ´68 and Dec. ´70, at Seoul Red Cross Hosp.
The one cases was 10-year-old male patient who had a adult head sized round mass in R.U.Q.
of Abd, cavity adjacent the intestinal loop on mesenteric border.
The other cases was also male patient of 5 years of age, who had a baby head sized convoluted
irregular mass with continuence of intestinal lumen,
Treatment were resections of intestinal segment with cysts and end to end anastomosis in both
cases with successfil Postop. courses without complications.
At 8th in former cases and at 10th of Potsop. days in latter, each of them was discharged.
